The Silver Hour – Tech Club brings adults 55+ together at The Skills Center's Skills Lab to learn artificial intelligence, smartphone skills, everyday technology and online safety in a welcoming, hands-on setting. Sponsors make that learning possible for more people.

Technology Education Built for Adults 55+

Technology now shapes how people communicate, find information, manage everyday life and access healthcare services. The Silver Hour makes sure older adults in our community aren't left behind.

The club meets every Monday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, and registration is open now. Participants learn in friendly, hands-on sessions at the Skills Lab, with patient, personalized support from Skills Lab team members and USF Work-Study students. Intergenerational learning is part of the design: technology becomes something that brings people together.

    The Silver Hour is an educational program. These commitments apply to every sponsorship.

    • Participant privacy

      Participant contact information is never sold or shared with sponsors. We don't collect insurance member IDs, medical histories or protected health information.

    • Education, not enrollment

      Programming stays separate from insurance marketing, enrollment or solicitation, and no one needs insurance membership to take part.

    • Recognition by approval

      Sponsor names and logos appear only with authorization, and sponsorship doesn't imply that a sponsor endorses, or is endorsed by, the program.

    Sponsorship supports technology education. We don't promise health outcomes, insurance enrollment or member retention.
